What I love most about pickleball is that it brings together so many things that matter to me - lifelong learning, physical fitness, and community. After playing for the past year, I continue to be amazed at how the game challenges me to improve while connecting me with people of all ages and skill levels. It is a sport that supports both health and meaningful relationships. My favorite days are being out on the court and slowing down enough to hear the buzz of giggles and conversations.
What I love most about Sequim Picklers is the community. To me, pickleball is about much more than a sport. It is about people of all ages coming together to stay active, keep learning, and enjoy one another’s company. I love seeing elementary students, high school players, working adults, retirees, and highly skilled competitors all sharing the same courts. There is something beautiful about watching multiple generations connect through a game they can enjoy for many years. Sequim Picklers represent the very best of lifelong fitness, friendship, and quality of life.
As Vice President, I would bring my experience as a coach and facilitator and educator to support collaboration, strong communication, and relationship building. I believe Sequim Picklers already have something very special, and I would be honored to help preserve and strengthen it as the sport continues to grow. I also understand the importance of maintaining positive relationships with the City and other community partners so the club can continue to thrive for members of all ages for years to come.

What I love most about pickleball is the community of players. All ages and ability ranges join together in a fun and healthy activity. It’s the only sport I have participated in where frequent laughter can be heard.
Being a member of Sequim Picklers not only supports our local, thriving pickleball community, it supports open play for all, and provides for more organized and structured activities.
I believe my many years as an educator and coach will help the club continue to thrive and grow bringing more inclusivity and social opportunities.

I love the spirit of competition, the team play, and the overall fun of the game.
The best part is definitely meeting all the awesome people in our community.
In the Court Ops role, I hope to keep our facilities in top shape and help organize optimal play for all members.

After retiring to Sequim in 2023, my husband and I decided to give pickleball a try, and immediately knew we made a great decision. We were welcomed into the Sequim Picklers community with open arms, which led to playing several days a week, having fun and connecting with friends.
As Membership Chair, I hope to be able to welcome others with the same experience I've had, fostering a welcoming and positive environment. The more Picklers, the better!

Draft & Go - July 9th
Our next MiLP Draft and Go is scheduled for Thursday, July 9th. Registration closes July 7th.
Start time: 5:30 PM
Please arrive by: 5:15 PM
|
Draft and Go is perfect for players who want to experience the MiLP format without the commitment of a formal team. The PCOC will draft from the pool of registered players to create balanced teams of two women and two men. At the end of the event, teams disband, and a new Draft & Go will be formed the following month.
We are working in units of 8 and cannot always draft all registrants. Those not drafted will be prioritized the following month.
Teams will be released a few days prior to the event.
The event is open to all ratings. Referees will be available to help with rally scoring and the format. Come join us for a fun evening of music, hot dogs, and pickleball!
